I heard him sneak into the bathroom while Penny was taking a shower. (knock knock) Penny: Are you knocking? You can just come in. Oliver: I was just checking on you. Penny: You can come in here while I shower if you want. Oliver: IN the shower!? Penny: No, just if you want to play in the bathroom, you can. Oliver: Okay, I'll get naked too. Penny: Keep your underwear on. I don't want ot take a shower with a naked no underwear boy just hanging around. ---- Oliver: "Okay........... When you die, will you still love me?" "What, I can't hear you over the shower." "IF YOU DIE, WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME?" "Yeah, Oliver. I am going to love you forever." --
I really want to try to go to bed at a decent hour, so I'm going to try and make this quick and snappy. The diggers came out and spent 8 to 5 digging the tunnel underneath the house. They told us that they would cover it to prevent the rain getting in, but they just threw a piece of plywood on top of it. The plywood isn't even as big as a whole, and I felt very angry that they didn't do what they said they were going to do by topping it. Also, no one ever sent me a picture, that picture that I saw was the one that Richard sent me when he went over to the house. We went back-and-forth about whether or not he would still go because it was so late when everybody finished digging, but it turns out they flipped the breaker in the front yard which meant that the freezer in the garage was off. So we had to go over there to turn everything back on, and he also got some more food and then brought over two Aerogardens and the tomato jars. Meanwhile, we had multiple conversations back...
It was no small feat that we got out of the house, all packed up, Sunday afternoon. We were probably packed and ready to go by 11AM, but we hadn't really decided what we were doing with the plants, so I ended up finishing packing and then turning around and watering all the plants in the house. We decided to leave them there until Dry Force could come evaluate the water damage and go from there. We didn't actually leave until around 1. Richard's new car was packed to the brim, and about 20 minutes into the drive we realized that we had forgotten the muffins that we made as well as the leftovers he had just made and a few other things. When we got here, my dad had made Chicken and Eggplant for lunch. I had told him we were eating lunch in the car, meaning the kids, so he had eaten alone. I still feel bad about that. But Richard and I had our first meals of the day, and then Richard turned around and left to go back to the house to get the stuff we had forgotten before...
