Day 5 Beach

Today, we rounded up over 50 hermit crabs, did some serious swimming in the clearer, calmer waters, and saw 2 dolphins swimming like 15 ft away. Oliver fed the seagulls and we made a tiny tide pool. I even caught a teeny tiny baby crab and a beach neighbor showed us some living barnacles they found, along with a kiddie pool if hermit crabs they had. Both kids had a blast in the ocean, and I even flew a kite for a bit. Crystal beach was great, albeit I could have lived without the occasional confederate and MAGA flags. And the 4 hr power outage.
