Quarantine Journals - Field Day (a day late)

Friday was the virtual field day, and she had a blast. We did a ton of activities and Richard took off half the day to orchestrate them.

Chalk obstacle course
Water obstacle course
Spray challenge
Water balloon fight

Then we went inside and they did
Bean bag challenge
Sock hop
Pillow jump
And more

While I was chalking the sidewalk, one it the first grade teachers went to the house across the street. The kid opened the door and the teacher put a hand on his shoulder and then said "oh wait, I've got to put on my mask and gloves." She asked if he had one, he said no, and then they stood one foot apart for like half an hour just talking with him and his siblings and mom.

But in other news, It was fun to watch the (other) neighbors do our chalk obstacle course on the sidewalk.

Then we went for a ride in Richard's new car and found the gifts Debbie had hidden for them.

Meggan is feeling better.
