Quarantine Journals - Superspreader event at whitehouse

Well. It has been quite the 24 hours...

Earlier this week was the first debate between Trump & Biden, and it was a shitshow.  Trump wouldn't let Biden speak for anything, trash talking his children and making fun of Biden for "wearing a mask everywhere he goes," stating that he wears them whether he's 6 ft or 20 ft away from people and that it's the "biggest mask [he's] ever seen."  

Cut to yesterday.  It is announced that his aide, Hope Hicks, has tested positive for covid.  Then announced that Trump & Melania are being tested for covid. Right before I was rolling over to bed, I see the tweet. Trump announcing that he and Melania both have covid, no symptoms, quarantining, and they will get through this together. WIDE EYES.


Throughout the day, test results have been pouring in.  Many are negative so far, including Biden & Kamala, thank goodness.  But it's early yet.  OH AND IT WAS REVEALED that Trump's family arrived to the debate LATE, so they forged the mandatory covid testing before the debate.  Also, they wore masks in the doors, but then they removed them and refused to put them back on.  They were the only ones in facility not wearing masks, against the mandate of the debate.

It turns out, the even that was held for the nomination of Amy Barrett as RBG's replacement was held with 90% of the guests NOT WEARING MASKS and SHOCKER OF ALL SHOCKERS, now 7 people that were there have tested positive.  A lot of them are on video interacting closely with others, hugging, kiss kiss, shaking hands, weaving in and out of the crowds from one person to the next.  Kelley Ann Conway's daughter, Claudia, just took to Tik Tok to announce, against her mother's wishes, that her mom has covid and is coughing all over the house.  Her video is SO RELATABLE.  


Kelly Ann was literally face to face with Bill Barr for an extended period of time, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, the president has been helicoptered to Walter Reed for medical care and has gone from "a symptomatic" to "mild" to "moderate" now, including a source saying that he was having moderate issues breathing.

Mitch McConnell is saying they will move forward with the Supreme Court nomination hearings regardless.

Oh, and it was revealed that Trump knew he had been exposed and was not feeling well but still went to multiple rally's and fundraisers, not wearing a mask, anyway. Because he does not GIVE A SHIT, Y'ALL.

I really want to try to go to bed at a decent hour, so I'm going to try and make this quick and snappy. The diggers came out and spent 8 to 5 digging the tunnel underneath the house. They told us that they would cover it to prevent the rain getting in, but they just threw a piece of plywood on top of it. The plywood isn't even as big as a whole, and I felt very angry that they didn't do what they said they were going to do by topping it. Also, no one ever sent me a picture, that picture that I saw was the one that Richard sent me when he went over to the house. We went back-and-forth about whether or not he would still go because it was so late when everybody finished digging, but it turns out they flipped the breaker in the front yard which meant that the freezer in the garage was off. Quarantine Journals - A letter to the contractors, therapy vent

It has been a month since you told me this job was finished. A month of driving back and forth multiple times a week to review work only to find more errors. You told me you were done, and the fixtures hadn't even been installed.  Nothing had been cleaned—we couldn't even see the damage through the dirt. There was paint in the wrong finish, damage to my new mirror, a leak under the sink with standing water and water damaged paint in the vanities.  There were chipped tiles and damage to the grout on the floor in both bathrooms, and lines drawn in permanent marker on the floors.  There were multiple cracked and scratched tiles in the shower. The carpet had come loose in the hallway and the study.  The tile on the bathroom shelf had been redone 3 times and the grout was unusually dark.  The shut off valve did not work.  The bathroom door would not close.  The towel bar was falling out of the wall. And there were a slew of careless mistakes made with regards to painting and caulkin...
