Quarantine Journals - Haircuts

One year in quarantine now, I guess it was just about time to get some home style haircuts going.

Penny was sick of her long hair and kept asking me to cut it. I was too stressed before, but this week I ordered some scissors and told her I would do it when they arrived today. I felt very whatever happens happens about it, and I was glad to be kind of disconnected about it, honestly. So I had her stand in the bathtub and I cut it.

I think it turned out okay and she's happy with it, though she told me she wanted me to cut it ALL off because she doesn't want any hair on the back of her neck anymore.

I put it in a pony tail for the first big cut, but the new scissors weren't cutting and I started to get anxious. But Richard adjusted then and we were good to go.

I asked Oliver if he wanted a little trim and he said "oh alright, but don't cut too much."

I was going to have Richard cut mine, but then I forgot and had already showered. So we will do it in a few days.

Me: Penny, keep your head still baby. You can control your body.
Penny laughs manically.
Me: You're about to toot on me aren't you.
Penny: Or did I already?
