Funny things

Penny got a Pez dispenser for Easter. She keeps mispronouncing the name, so all day long I'm hearing, "Can I have a piz?"

Oliver started out yelling "Jesus Christ!" at Christmas time whenever he would see pretty lights. It then changed to "Jesus Cross" which then changed to "Cheesus Crocs!" which I still hear on the daily. 

Oliver likes to pick who gets to lay down with him at bedtime. He likes to announce this decision by yelling "I chose you mommy/daddy-chu!" Like I chose you pikachu. This has now morphed into "I chose you, Mommy/Daddy-Jew."

Tonight, Oliver played doctor. Richard was his first patient.  Oliver had to do a scan to see what was wrong. He shared the scan results with all of us (see image). Diagnosis: Cat Scratch. He then gave Richard a flu shot, washed the blood off his arm, placed a small cone over his nose and said, "Okay. Now, scream."

Your dad

I say "your dad" and "your sister" so often that Oliver thought it was a title, so he would call them Your Dad and Your Sister to anyone he talked about them too.  We are trying to work on pronouns now and the difference between MY dad and YOUR dad.  He is doing great but gets so turned around sometimes that he just stops and says "Richard."
