Sushi fail

Called a sushi place that is vegan friendly with gluten free options to be sure that they could accommodate us and felt good about it.  Accidentally mapped to a different location, but ordered everything the manager had told me to and told two waiters and the chef that nothing should have egg or MAYO in it.

When the food came out, I asked "there's no egg in this?" And she said no. And I said "there's no Mayo?" And she said I've got you. I made sure it's all safe.

Hadn't eaten all day, so we dug in, and more than half way through, I realize something isn't right. I called her over and said, this is very creamy... if this isn't Mayo, what is it? She leaves and gets the manager. He comes over and says "oh that IS mayo, but it's gluten free. I checked."

I spent 5 minutes explaining to him that gluten free is not egg free and demanding to know if our food for sure had mayo. He says "oh yeah there's no doubt that has mayo. But it's gluten free." I said, "listen. He's allergic to EGG. He cannot have MAYO. I told your server this MULTIPLE TIMES. She assured me it was safe. You are CERTAIN is has MAYO?"
Yes.

I get up to leave. I have to go. He is anaphylactic, and you've put him in danger. He graciously says he isn't going to charge us and he's sorry.

I don't care if you're sorry. He's anaphylactic. Your apology means nothing to me.

We've been sitting outside for 20 minutes. I'm crying; watching him like a hawk; epi in hand. He only had one small bite, and I can only pray that he didn't get the mayo or has outgrown this allergy.

I am so mad at myself for driving to the wrong location. He is reactive via milk, and I DID eat, so there is no comfort in my heart right now.
